Social climate worries HRDs
HRDs are off to a flying start this autumn. The survey of 462 decision-makers presented on Tuesday by their national association, ANDRH, confirms several areas of tension. Le climat social inquiète d’ailleurs quatre DRH sur 10. Indeed, 39% anticipate “a deterioration in social relations” due to inflation, the energy crisis and pension reform.
The latter will be “a fool’s bargain” and “a source of social tension” if it is not accompanied by a proactive policy on the employment of older people, the Association warned. “We are pleased that this issue is being taken seriously by the government,” said the organisation’s vice-president, Benoit Serre. He welcomed the fact that the Prime Minister had mentioned the creation of a “seniors’ index”, an idea put forward by the association “since 2018”.
