ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE?

The Cross-Channel Institute

The Cross Channel Institute is an independent think tank that aims to analyse and strengthen Franco-British economic relations.

OUR OPERATIONS

Intellectual Publications:
In addition to its annual barometer of Franco-British economic relations, the Cross Channel Institute regularly publishes analyses of the key sectors of economic life in our two countries.

An Association of Experts:
The Cross Channel Institute contributes to public debate by organizing numerous events that shed light on the most current business, macroeconomic and geopolitical issues.

WHY A THINK-TANK?
A think tank – often translated as a “laboratory of ideas” – is a research organization built around expertise on policies (particularly economic and cultural), whose primary purpose is to produce and promote innovative ideas to political and economic policy makers. Usually, think tanks’ duties consist of publishing notes and reports that are freely accessible, and creating events that bring experts and decision-makers together on specific topics.

HOW WE WORK

The Cross Channel Institute is based on a strategic partnership between its three founders; the Franco-British Chamber, the PwC and the British Embassy, its members and its partners.
The Institute is composed of a Strategic Committee and an Operational Committee. The founders, partners and members meet regularly.
