"At a time when there is a great deal of uncertainty about the future of UK economic relations with Europe, we are happy, but also proud to be taking part alongside the Franco-British Chamber in building a vision. ambitious of what must be this "special relationship" between the companies of our two nations with or without, before or after, the Brexit. "
Thierry Drilhon, President of the Franco British Chamber
"Faced with the challenges that Brexit raises for the entire business community, we want to use this particular period as a trigger and an opportunity to facilitate the development of economic activities on both sides of the Channel. The creation of this Think-Tank in partnership with PwC and DIT * is a great opportunity to reinvent our economic relations with the United Kingdom, for the next decades, around a powerful and historic relationship. "
Paul Taylor, Deputy Director DIT *, Embassy of the United Kingdom in France
"At DIT we are very pleased with this initiative of Think Tank Franco-British which we are delighted to contribute and thus strengthen the deep and historical relationship between our two countries. "

Message from His Excellency Lord Edward Llewellyn, Ambassador of Great Britain to France
"The Franco-British friendship continues to strengthen. Our two countries are entering a new chapter in our bilateral relations, and trade between the United Kingdom and France has been steadily increasing over the past two years. The Cross-Channel Institute Barometer is a shining example of the continued commitment of governments and businesses on both sides of the Channel to our strong and historic relationship. As the barometer shows, bilateral trade in goods and services between the United Kingdom and France amounted to € 92 billion in 2017. The year 2018 was even better, with British exports to France and imports from France have further increased. Our cooperation with the Franco-British Chamber remains very important during this key period. Together we are helping new companies in the French and UK markets and now, through our cooperation with the Cross-Channel Insitute, we will produce expert analysis and innovative solutions to further propel our bilateral business relationship.
